Something goofy with supplies

Post by einsteinprotoge »

I'm not sure if this has been posted or not, but for some reason, I have areas running out of supplies that have a rail connection to areas with high suppy values. I see the red exclamation point in places in the United States (among others) indicating little or no supplies.

Is there something I'm supposed to be doing to rectify this?

Is this early in the war? It takes a while for the routine that handles supply to reach an equilibrium. If you want to force them somewhere faster you can try increasng the supplies requested for a particular base.

No, it's NOV 42... almost a year in. I didn't notice this problem before.

Are you using anything at these locations? I got this down pretty well in WITP (where you could draw supply by putting transports or heavy bombers or an HQ at a base), but I am still learning in AE, as well. I suspect that requesting more supplies is the way to go if you really need them there to build-up airfields or whatever.

No, this is one of the 3 bases in the San Francisco area, in addition to San Luis north of LA.

I concur. I had the same issue and these lovely people on here clued me into said beta patch, and presto downloaded it all was right with the world. So I recommend downloading the beta patch.

where can I find the Beta patch?

It's in the "Members Club". You can access this via the "members" button at the top of the forum page. After you have created an account in the "Members Club" & you have registered your game in the "Members Club" you can access the beta patches via the "private download" button beside the name of the game.
