Moving starting locations...

Post by Cribtop »

I know how to move the starting location of individual units, but is there any way to re-position entire commands?

For example, all of 14th army starts in Takao?

Fortunately, most units in the editor are grouped by Army (or whatever command they belong to) anyway, so finding all of the elements of the 14th Army should be easy.

However, you will still have to reposition them individually as far as I know. Also make sure to check the element you are moving is actually on map, and you arent moving a unit not yet arrived.

Try looking at ID #3850 and onwards.

Thanks. As a follow up, can you load & unload units from TFs in the editor?

Yes, this is accomplished using the 'Unit to Load' field in the LCU settings.

Make sure that the TF you're loading it on has enough space to carry the LCU or bad things may happen.

PS - This is all explained in the editor manual btw! [8D]
