Russian Supply

Post by Alex Gilbert »

As someone pretty new to the game, I was wondering where Russian supply originates. Obviously not Moscow. If it is the east map edge, then how does any of the northern area get supplied after the Germans capture Moscow--all rail lines to the north run through there, but I have taken Moscow and nothing happens.
On the other hand, I have moved north from Moscow and managed to cut supply to leningrad by seizing the railways, so it seems that there IS a supply source somewhere up there. Anyone know where it is?

Thanks for the help in advance

Isn't it the end of the rail-line running north from Vologda?

i hyink ANY railhex running toward ANY edge is a supply point. As are all northern hexes (but if you get your supply irectly from there you have a problem).

The supply points are the railway squares along the eastern edge (I can't remember for sure but I think all of them are supply points). The rail line to the north will provide level 5 supply, to represent supply from Murmansk and Archangel coming from Western Allies, if Moscow falls. I'm pretty sure the rail line in Finland will not provide supply if Moscow and the northern rail line fall.
