I was hopping to see him here, but it opens just after I leave. I got to see Topal do the role in London ,many years ago. He would be very hard to beat. [:)]

Bit of a different take, I think. Never saw Topol, but I think you'd enjoy Harvey.

For me, it was always using the M*****F****** photon torpedoes as scientific sensor arrays or to carry a subspace message. They hardly ever used them as PHOTON TORPEDOES to blow s*** up![:@]

Pffftt...world, schmurld. TNG is about the Galaxy and beyond. That approach to foreign policy seems to suit the Klingons and Romulans quite well.

Getting bravely killed in uneven combat is not how most humans would want to go out. [;)]

No. Most of the TNG humans seem to prefer 'going out' by means of self destruct devices, catastrophic environmental failures on their ships, or the recipient of a uneven combat by the Klingons, Romulans, Borg or others. The panty-waisted Star Fleet has totally lost their cajones in the 24th century. Must have been too much interstellar estrogen between the 22nd and 24 centuries.

Staaaahrfreeht...you tak and you tak.....but you 'ave no GRAMBAAAAGH. [:D]

Actually, when they do put combat records or historical references into canon, it usually morrors the American mindset very closely, ie be peaceful, be attacked, get slightly upset, grind the enemy to dust. But if you have an aversion to that, theres always the Maquis. [:)]
