When the 1.08 BETA versions begin to come out, please install them to a different directory and create a totally different install so that any problems we find with 1.08 will not affect your live games!

I recommending playtesting the PBEM land combat side of things very extensively. There have been some major changes there. Things appear to be working OK for me in a FTF game but oddly in a fake PBEM game. It's hard to playtest PBEM accurately by yourself!

The bug that re-appeared in 1.07 of loaned corps reverting to their original owners appears to have gone, but I'm having trouble exchanging battle files correctly. It is also the case that the game deletes a battle file when it is no longer required, e.g. when the defender plays past the end of the attacker's land combat phase.

1.08 games can't be loaded into 1.07 or earlier versions. So if you upgrade your game to 1.08 you should keep backups made in 1.07 before you progress.

Also, I have discovered (so far) that you need to make a copy of your 1.07 game and install over the top of that copy. If you install 1.08 into an empty directory it won't recognise your serial number, and a few other things don't work.
