I wonder if it's gonna be released near the end of the week, or near the beginning. I hope near the beginning [:)] .

I think everyone is hoping that mate. Realistically, I reckon it'll be the end of the week, but the excited side of me is hoping beginning! [:D]

If it was going to be released on Monday I think Erik would have said so.  At this point I'm thinking end of the week or even the following week.  Which means I better not lose everything in Vegas next weekend.

@Erik: By the way, which timezone do you guys work in now? Will announcements / release happen based on US or on New Zealand TZ?

If this game doesn't come out this week I'm afraid I will be forced to hijack an space luxury cruiser and use it as a meteor against your main offices!

*Just kidding*

But honestly, I haven't been this excited for a 4X game in quite some time, it's hard to keep ones excitement under control!

I'd assume US time, which means it could be anywhere between 7:45am and 10:45am atm. :(

Will add this game to my collection of space strategy games whenever it will come out.  I just hope that it will.  We don't get lots of real-time space strategy games in the market.

From replies in forum by Elliot & Erik, I have confidence that they will make a mediocre title into fantastic one over time.  I'm not afraid.  Regular support from these guys will make the game a great buy.  I'm also not afraid to pay for incremental improvement/upgrade over time either.  Bring it on.

I think it's a little unfair to call it a mediocre title before you've even played it.

What a strange thing to say before the game is released...and to say it with "confidence"?

Most games are "mediocre" upon initial release.  It it better to assume it as such to avoid your trashing the game later when it does not play to your liking.  The most important thing is the continuing support by developers and publishers.  How many "great" new IP, real time strategy PC games have you bought in the last 10 years.  Let me see: starcraft ...  The rest are just run of the mill, "consolized", dump-down games.  Again: CONTINUING SUPPORT is the main reason I buy a game.

From what I saw this game has it all to be good. Let's not get too excited however and wait patiently, what we need less is a rushed out the door product that needs to be heavilly patched. Need 2 more weeks, go ahead, we'll wait.
