Got whacked with 2010 xp virus and had to put new os on pc....was able to reinstale game but unable to update game do to invalid key....?

Still no reponse from tech after 3 days.....am I in wrong area for this kind of help.....? Here is my order information

dont they need it to help me? Already sent two email to matrix internally for help without response. Matrix big co.....wrong email...sent it to same email eddy that sent me update notice? Not sure where to ask for help with this issue...cant be a uncommon one....but no real receptive to remove immed post Don fyi........maybe say Hammer go here for help or email here.....but not good idea to post this for this reason....I am a laymen....not a pro gamer.

Hammerdamage, edit your post now and remove your serial number before it is stolen. then try to get your problem solved.

what does invalid key mean? Need more info, what were you doing to get this message - specifically? Where did you install the game? What os? 32 or 64 bit?

Got the xp 2010 virus .... so I had to reload os.....windows 7......had saved the game before I changed os and just downloaded again....runs fine but it is an early version ......now when I go to update game states invalid key.....? Can play the game but just cant update it with all the new improvements.>.>.>>.btw gainesville florida here BigJ.....go gators

So you re-installed AE using the ser# that was provided to you and it installed without error. Then you went to matrix and downloaded WITP Admiral's Edition v1.01.02a Official Update and tried to install and when you typed the ser# in, the installer rejected your ser#, is this correct? Just to make certain that it did not install you did launch the game and when you get to the main screen the version displayed is what?
