@Dobey - Most HRs try to simulate a What If or address some game issue. Surprise East of the Dateline/No Surprise to the West. No 4E Naval Attacks below 10k. If you want a Historical Dec. 7th, play the Dec. 8th beginning. If you want some variance, use HRs on Dec. 7. I don't think anyone attempts to use HRs to disadvantage one side to give the other a chance. I do not have a GC going at the moment. If I did, I would try to trade good settings for me for good settings for you. If you want PDU on, I want Surprise off. You want historical first turn, I want PDUs off. That sort of thing. Having said that, I prefer the scenarios. I'm having a blast with Guadalcanal. Limited scope, few units, (very) limited logistics. I lose some (d0mbo made me weep most recently) and win some.
