what happen to battle animation

Gary Grigsby’s World at War is back with a whole new set of features. World at War: A World Divided still gives complete control over the production, research and military strategy for your side, but in this new updated version you’ll also be able to bring spies into the mix as well as neutral country diplomacy, variable political events and much more. Perhaps the largest item is the ability to play a special Soviet vs. Allies scenario that occurs after the end of World War II.

what happen to battle animation

Post by catch22 »

Hello to all

I had been playing Gary's WAW 2005 demo. When I first got it, it was too much information. I was/am a Xeno WAW Expansion player for the board game.

Anyways, there is no pc game for Xeno's WAW, not with AI. I got back into Gary's WAW demo. Then I bought AWD 2 days ago and have finally got the just of playing it. I just won the first scenario as Germany. I didn't read the strategy. Playing any A&A game will tell you that.

I like the game, but it sucks not being able to watch the battle scenes. Am I missing it or does it really not have that option anymore?

They're gone for good. The code and sequence for battles changed so much, that they would have irrelevant to what was actually happening.
