I'm playing the Germans which see to be much less complicated to play and feel like I'm holding my own. But its really really early. Thanks for the game and the constant attention to improve it! some of the stuff I been working on for the New OOBs

the BoBs, combat has been reworked, Harley's changes to the Code, works very well with the BTR side, but kind of were getting damaged planes in the BoB side

while not really able to work with the AI as such, I was able to get some tricks and twists in, to give the LW AI a little better chance of doing better

(it can win the one day and the one week battles in both BoB/BoB41, it will give you a battle in BoB and has a chance to win in BoB41, but for the full game, while it will try, I need to get to the code, to force the AI to focus on what it needs to do (Nick and I, in AI games were able to get the LW AI to go 4 months, but it will lose the AS sudden death rule)

got a very good data base for the RAF pilots now, was able to find out almost all of the pilots who flew in the battle, with there full names (and with in reason, there scoring as well, going off of Pilot claims, vs Goverment lists, so we got a good number of RAF Aces now) got rid of a number of "non" pilots and gunners

added in more LW pilots as I found them

in BoB41, was able to rename the It Units to there correct names and plane types, and depending on the battle being fought, the It may be kind of nasty (or at least Helpful

in BTR, I kind of forget everything I was working on

correct It Unit names and plane types flown

adding in lots of It's Airfields (most books dealing with this area, tend to only show the bases the LW used, not the bases the It were using)

corrected names, added names (correcting/adding pilots from the BoB who were still around in 43/44, with updated scoreing (for the ones who did score)

we need a new map panel, that Nick made up

some data changes/fixes to production (nothing major)

and of course, it is not all one side, the It had bases that were overran and taken over by the Allies, so....

the only issue I have seen with the new OOB for BTR is, that the new Airfields, will not let you click on them from the target/info lists, the AI uses them, they work as Axis Airfields, they can be targeted and attacked though normal means (need some coding, once Harley is done with his other coding, to touch this up)

Folks, please vote to release the OOBs - at least the BOBs.  Hard Sarge has done a tremendous amount of work on the BOB pilots which you have to see to believe.  Plus the BOB41 OOB is totally revamped and provides an excellent challenge for both short and long scenarios vs the AI or PBEM, and there are no code dependent changes.

I have not voted yet because I am not sure I understand the various votes. I would say release things as they get done and dont hold completed OOB's until others that are still WIP get done. These campaigns take years to play and if somebody is waiting for an OOB that is done I am sure it gets frustrating. So you guys tell me how I should vote based on what I am saying pls. [8D]

(other then clicking on them in the target list, they work as normal airfields)
