Can someone help me out?  I need a cup of tea, but Josh has fallen asleep on my lap and if I move he's going to do that crying thing that babies seem so fond of.  Mrs Dixie is asleep upstairs so I need someone to nip over and make me a brew.
Awww ... [:D]

I had more than a few drinks yesterday, thank you [:D].

Yesterday evening I hosted a dinner for a couple of classmates from elementary school (I don't know if that's the correct name). We met last summer at the 30 years reunion and found out that we now live in the same city, so "we have to get together some time". We actually did it.

Three ladies plus me. Italian buffet. My apartment has a "faint" garlic miasma and I feel just a tad queasy ... [:D]

There you go Martin. I couldn't come over , so I had one for you! Isn't that what friends are for?! [:D]

Sounds like a need for "hair of the dog". [:D] It doesn't actually cure anything , but keeps the hangover going and softens the blow! [:D] Hope you feel better. [:)]

It's a dreary rainsoaked day in the city on the Potomac. [:(] But an excellent day to go out and get all those nasty errands done.[:)] And it looks like my departure to the west has been delayed a little bit . We don't have to be there till June 1. Looks like I'll be able to meet with Paz in April! [:)]

"Hair of the dog" by Nazareth was actually the first LP I ever bought for my own money at the age of 12 (in 1975). I actually didn't know, until now, that it had this other meaning (just checked it on wikipedia).

I'll be ok, thank you. [:)]

Edited: Grammar.

It doesn't make any sense, Admiral. Were we better than the Japanese or just luckier?
