Problems Installing FOG Rise of Rome

I'm trying to install Rise of Rome but it's saying I don't have FOG installed. I have the original version of FOG from Slitherine (not Matrix) but I was under the impression the versions were the same? Is there anything I can do to fix it or should I just right it off as a bonehead move on my part and buy the version from the Slitherine website. Thanks in advance.

We did not test that exact case, but that _should_ work. We will have to test for that and get back to you though, worst case we'll ask you to download an updated version tomorrow to sort it out.

I dunno. Maybe the install directory is wrong.  Slitherine and Matrix versions have different default directories.  So make sure the installer points to the right one.

I have Matrix FOG and Slitherine ROR expansion working well toghether.

The matrix installer doesn't ask for the directory. I did try installing the Original game in a matrix directory and then installing ROR but that didn't work either. I'm sure it's looking at some registry settings but I could not find what that may be.

You can now download a corrected version in the Members Club.  Register your Field of Glory - Rise of Rome  Serial Number.  Then you can go to Registered Downloads to get the new installer.  Let us know that this works for you.
