I tend to use 'Briton' when I mean the old Celtic types. At least on this side of the pond, 'British' invokes visions of Union Jacks and Spitfires...... [:'(]

My nephew , now almost 30 , served on the "New Oak Hill". Which he refers to as "That old ship
If he had been on the LSD-7, he would understand the word old. AE has her down as a 17 knot ship. We could cruise day and night at 14 knots with no sweat but never made it above 16, even when empty and coming back from a WestPac cruise.

Very well. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I'm hoping to learn the ropes pretty quick. Having said that, I dont even have a workstation yet. Nor have I actually gotten to play with the software. [:D]
