upgrade paths ground units

I have read that in UV are upgrade paths for airplanes. Are in WitP also upgrade paths for the equipment of the ground units.
Some examples:

-Tank bn's has in the begin of the war M3 Stuarts. And on the end M4 Shermans.

- USMC squads had in the begin of the war 1x BAR. In 1944 3x BAR, demo sackets etc. Or better say more firepower.

- LVT1 to LVT5 amtracks.

I agree. I'd try and say something relevant in addition, but I think Jo covered the main points.
