4 players and up - Multiplayer Maps (ww2)

Post by Baphomet »

Hello All,

I've been a long time player of close combat / combat mission etc..
Been looking for a way to get more than 2 players playing at once.. i happened to come across this game not so long ago..
I was wrapped to see it supports more than 2 players on LAN.. so i went out and purchsed it.
I also saw that there were some WW2 mods around.. fantastic. One thing though... do you know which maps support more than 4 players? (or including 4)
I downloaded 2 different mods, but it seems like the maps are geared at 2 players only?

I know one of the mods comments on there being 2 maps for 2-4players.. but fails to mention which ones?
Does anybody know which maps these are?
Is it possible to edit the amount of players in a battle in the editor?

I enjoy modern combat enough, but my favourite theatre is ww2, as with my friends...
Are there any more maps / mods in development for ww2 using CCMT?

Thanks for any responses (if there are any..)
Cheers.

All maps support 5 V 5 players or less than that if you want.

There is no such thing as a map not supporting the 5 v 5

Hi Andrew...

Thanks for such a prompt reply..

I'll d/load those maps you directed me to. Thanks for that.

I've done a bit more digging on the topic and found a lot of map packs with conversions from CC4/CC5 to CCMT.
I assume this makes every map imported by default are able to support 5 v 5? Is this correct?

Within the unit roster for the map, is the number of units allocated for each battle divided amongts the players on that team..or does adding another player into the mix bloster the amount of units in total? Or is this defined within a txt file associated with the map?

Cheers,
Thanks for the help.

if you have 5 players per team each can have 15 units to control

So up to 150 units on the map.
