Game crashing to desktop.

Post by WarWagon »

Playing GE. it is turn 194 of 450 (Sept. '43') Murmansk is the only major city left plus two or three minor ones in the Siberian forest. Game crashes during the end of Soviet turn whether AI controlled or human controlled.

Also, the program is telling me it is impossible to naval bombard Murmansk or conduct amphibious assault, (no coastal hexes present), regardless of any naval armrada parked off its coast....odd to say the least. I can conduct ampib. ops on the far eastern shore however, but the supply chain is to long to effectively support a siege.

Can any one help?

A saved game in zip format and ConsoleOut.Txt are always valuable in this circumstance.

You are probably going to have to march up there and take Murmansk.  Perhaps an series of airborne drops might help capture cities on the way.  Build an airborne division, drop it, build another in that city, drop it, repeat as necessary, then strat move some panzers.

Autosave is to large to upload here, even zipped. Here is the console out file.

Thanks for the help.

I have five level 5 panzer corps surrounding Murmansk now. The lengthy supply chain is causing strength reductions faster than the one Soviet tank corps defending the city. I am thinking my only option is to go nuclear (if GE can develop one fast enough).
