Error when purchasing Distant Worlds

I have just tried to purchase Distant Worlds and after the payment screen I get the following error:

Error Number: 30060939 - 0

Hope someone can help I really want to try this game.

Please post your Order ID, the only way to figure out what the problem is here is to check by the Order ID (this is generated before the order is completed). Usually errors are because of either missing info or information that does not match in terms of shipping/payment.

Hi Erik, I think I accidentally ordered 2 copies as I was having trouble with my paypal account. However, I'm successfully downloading a copy now so I have definitely purchased at least one. Is there any way you could find out for me? I would appreciate this so much!

I will check on it - did you get two e-mail receipts with different order IDs, or did your order say that you purchased two copies in one order?

It appears I only have one receipt, which is good news. I think it's because I tried the european transfer option when I thought my paypal account wasn't working. I then tried the paypal account one last time (as the other payment option seemed too complex and would have taken days for my money to go through!) and realised I received a receipt and "begin http download" on the digital river site!

I'm assuming that means I'm ok and have just purchased one copy?

I think you have only purchased one copy, but I will double-check.

It looks like you had a second (failed) order for two other copies, but that's still awaiting payment, so I believe you are fine.

I'm having a similar problem. I select Paypal as the payment option, my email is the same as my Paypal account, but after I click the button to complete the order I get this message: We're Sorry. We were unable to verify your payment information. Please use an alternate payment option if available. Thank you

Trying a different card can be helpful in those case. Usually it's just a slight difference between the info you input and what the card company returns that causes issues like this. If you continue to have issues, contact me at erikr@matrixgames.com and I can ask the store to manually clear your card.

I would suggest e-mailing me at erikr@matrixgames.com with any and all Order IDs you have along with the last six digits of the CCs you are trying and I can ask the store to manually clear them and work with you to get the order to complete.

I'm having trouble ordering online for this title as well, with the same Ccard I have purchased numerous other Matrix titles. Are there others who are having problems? I will try again latter. I may just have to use another card, but seems odd when this one has been fine in the past.
