If I play as the humans and pick 19 empires for auto generation will each of the 19 empires be a different race?

Its randomly picked, another empire might be the same race as yours or other empires.

Ok I would like to see an option for auto-gen to have non-duplicate races in the future.

They will usually all be different races - the game setup tries to use them all.
