How do you lower it? Where is the file located.

The settings are in the races.txt. Before you do any modding create a folder under Customization, name doesn't matter. Then copy the races.txt to the folder you created. Then mod the races.txt, details are in the txt file too.

My folder is test theme. After you are done, don't forgot to use the change theme button at the main menu.

C:\Matrix Games\Distant Worlds\Customization\test theme\races.txt


Or just use my text file, there are no race bonuses in this one.

I'm a dummy, races.txt is located under Distant Worlds folder.

No that gets rid of all the races buffs in the game.I am only want to stop immigrant aliens adding buffs on top on the ones you start the game with.

I see, modding effects them all. Maybe Elliot can tweak how the system works.
