Construction Ship question

I sent one to a black hole to build a research lab. After that I ordered it to build whatever the facility is called that tourists visit at the same black hole. Instead it started heading back to my colony. It had 185/300 fuel so I assume that was not the problem and it would make no sense to go back to refuel since it would burn that much fuel again getting back. Any idea why it is heading out instead of building the facility?

Yes, it was heading back to load up the resources it would need to build the new base.

OK so it only carries enough for one facility at a time then.  Thanks.

That's right - every base has its own set of requirements and it's rare that it could or would carry enough for two bases at a time.
