No way to get DW over Paypal?

Hi there,

I cant buy Distant Worlds over Paypal, because i have no credit card.
My bank account is Paypal verified, so why i cant buy this game?

Any ideas and suggestions how i can get this game?

I'm not sure. I was able to purchase on Paypal last night (my paypal account is linked to by current account in my bank - not my credit card)

Hi Brotkohl,

We do support PayPal in our store, though there may be differences in terms of different countries. Your best bet is to give us your Order ID (it's generated before the order is completed) if it's not accepting it for you. Alternately, you can order by phone (the phone number is listed in the store).

It may be that the store can't handle PayPal in Germany, I'm not sure but I will find out.

Weird - I am from Germany too and have my PayPal account tied to my bank account. I ordered the game yesterday and it worked fine (that was about 19 hours ago I think).
During the ordering process however there were one or two moments when I had the hard time finding the right options...

Hmm... the only options i got: Register a credit card (Master , Visa and one i forgot)
My last buy was Din´s Curse over BMT Micro / Paypal... worked like a charm...

What should i do now, simply order again and see what options Paypal offer me?

tried several times yesterday, no luck...

I am forced to use a credit card over Paypal... If i had one i dont need to use Paypal!

"For order 1654167356 we show that the order completed, we are just
waiting for the funds to be provided. As of yet the funds have not been
transferred. The customer may want to contact Paypal."

I'm not sure I follow - according to the store, you completed the order but PayPal has not sent us the funds. We can't resolve that for you, PayPal will not let us do anything with your account. This is an indication that there must be something going wrong with your PayPal account. According to the store, on our side we accepted your info but we can't give you the game until the payment comes through from PayPal.

We really do want your business and I don't want this to be hard, but we can't give you the game until we get paid.

We do also accept checks and bank transfers if you don't want to work through PayPal or a CC.

Hello,

Today i bought some shoes via Paypal, then I tried to buy Distant Worlds + Addons via Paypal, too, and had a similiar problem like brotkohl two years ago.
Paypal seems to have a problem with your authorized seller. When i tried to pay on Paypal, i get a message that i should talk to the seller.
After some tries i gave up and decided to pay via bank transfer (hope this doesn't make problems with unpaid orders via paypal).
Since i'm from germany like brotkohl, maybe there is an problem with some specific banks. Seems weird that it works for impact but not for brotkohl and me [:(]

Hope the bank transfer will work quickly. Can't await to play. Your Game seems to be the manifestation of my dreams. Don't understand why german game magazines never reported about it [&:]

For the germans out there who might not be able to use paypal nor have a credit card like me, I can suggest www okaysoft de (why does this forum not allow me to post links lmao) - from what I was able to find, pretty much the only german vendor that is offering the whole series of DW + ROTS + Legends. I bought mine there with "cash on delivery" and had no problems. They might want a copy of your identity card though to verify you are 18+, since it seems like Legends was never localized and thus not rated by the BPJM.
