Allied Turn Replay Crash

Post by Rusty1961 »

Twice I've tried to watch the replay of a turn and at 22:30 (there about) the game has crashed to desktop.

Is this a known bug?

It is imperative I see the replay.

Indeed it is a known bug.. let me rephrase that. I get the bug too, even as a German player wanting to look at the turn in BTR.

If enough action take place, then you will get the crash. So be gentle with the Luftwaffe and bomb sparingly [:-][8D]

You're kidding. It can't handle a "busy" day? It wouldn't be that busy if I didn't have to do all those intruders individually.

Have you tried viewing the replay in 'windowed mode' using hotkeys?

No one responded to my last inquiry so I have no idea whether that helps only my machine or if it will work with the masses.

I did ask how to watch in "windowed mode" and no one responded.

How do I do this? Remember, I can't read the manual so there are a lot of things I can't see unless someone mentions them here.

Go to Options either from in-game or the main splash screen and select the button next to "Use Windowed Mode" so that it is on. Then you have to exit the game completely and re-start.

Can you read any pdf's from any source?

Thank you for the Widows mode information. [&o]

It is only this pdf file in this game I can't open.

I downloaded the newest adobe file viewer and all others work.

Take care.

Viewing the replay in Windows mode didn't change a thing.

Again, just after 23:30 the game crashed, this time on a different turn.

Try using the skip buttons to skip to a point a few minutes after the crash. That usually solves it for me.
