I still sometimes marvel at the fact that you let 16-year olds drive, but Thread forbid they buy beer before they're 21...

I didn't get my license until I was 23. I saved my parents a fortune on car insurance[:D]

I agree, but voting parents in this country would be up in arms if they couldn't avoid bussing their whelps around as soon as possible.

Bah Humbug! When I was a teenager, we WALKED to school every day, uphill BOTH ways, through 20 feet of snow, and if we HAD shoes, we counted ourselves blessed. Kids these days, with their IPhones and their Twitter and their garbage... No respect...[:@]

I Respect you T! (snicker, snicker, guffaw!). [:D] (You young punk! ) [:D]

Hey I grew up in northern New York. I did the same thing[:D]

Mynok , they have the same sort of parents over there , wherever the hell "there is". Live in a tourist community. You'll see most parents of permissive societied let the children run roughshod. The only exceptions I've seen are 1) extremely religious societies or 2) societies that put the child to work as soon as possible.

People who can , spoil their kids. It's only natural. So what do you want to do? Repeal the child labor laws?[:D]

I don't worry about poorly behavied children. It's poorly behaved adults that I have a problem with. And the law won't let me shoot them , or even smack them! Bad adults=bad kids. It's hardly rocket science. [:D]

But I don't witness parents over 'there'. I have no grounds to comment. Over here I do. Kids run rampant because parents are trying to be their friends and not their parents.

Tithe... Playing Torchlight at the moment. Fun game, and a good example of how you don't have to have a budget of millions and a team of hundreds to pull off a good product. Saw it on Steam for 75% off and bought it immediately.

Gloria in Excelsis Threado, the weekend is here![&o][&o]

Wife has birthday today... [:)]

Mazel Tov, Leo. Give her a kiss for me. [:)]

Thank you brother Onime! [;)]

We went for a 1 day vacation on Saturday to near by (60 km) thermal resort (lots of indoor swimming pools)... [:)]

BTW, I am proud to announce that I can still hold my breath to swim under water (without jumping - starting in water in the swimming pool) the full length (25 meters) of 1/2 size Olympic swimming pool! [:)]
