RE: Autumn Fog v 5.0 turn 14
End turn 14, the Allies are in bad shape after losing Bastogne. Larry is trying to pocket whats' left of XVIII Airborne corp and 4th AD just west of Bastogne.

Its looking good for you Larry next stop Antwerp, great AAR
The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

Larry, where can I find the Tiles_damaged_railroad.BMP that you are using?

End turn 16 and Larry is still closing the noose around the remnants of XVIII Airborne Corp and 4AD, now well west of Bastogne. I doing my best to save what I can.

Why thank you very much. Do you really think I ought to try for Antwerp? I'll have to give that some thought.

I've attached a file to this post that has the BMP's in it that I think have something to do with the railroad picture. I went through my altgraphics directory and rounded up all the railroad files I could find and zipped them into this file. Just clip the ".txt" off the end of the file and unzip it. Move the BMP's to your altgraphics directory and you should be good to go. Lemme know if that doesn't work for some reason and we'll try something else.

Randy's air force is making itself felt. My advance has ground to a virtual halt. Maybe he can hold onto what he has now that reinforcements are showing up.

RE: Autumn Fog v 5.0 turn 17
Excuse me that I'm asking in this thread, but I see that in most multiplayer games you are not using the "no borders" advanced option. Why is it so? Is this option bad for any reason?
RE: Autumn Fog v 5.0 turn 17
I'm with Huzar on this one. This is just my opinion but, it seems there is too much information available to people. Wouldn't it be alot more fun if you didn't know so much about what the other guy is doing?
RE: Autumn Fog v 5.0 turn 17
One reason that comes to my mind for disabling the "no borders" option is that in real life the supply troops move by roads and they see if there is e.g. an enemy blocking the road before them and they know his position. With "no borders" you don't see if the road behind your lines has been occupied by enemy (I think so...?), so it is an artificial handicap. Are there any more reasons?

RE: August Fog v 5.0 Turn 20
Um..........due to real life issues Randy had to find a different hobby. Either that or a different wife. Either way he looses. IMHO.ORIGINAL: sPzAbt653
Hey guys, are you finished ?
Nope. Well, if I had a different opponent maybe we could FINALLY get past turn 20 or so. And turns 20 through 100 might reveal something unexpected.......you never know. Just a thought.ORIGINAL: sPzAbt653
Any comments or suggestions before I post the final version?
