CTD when attacking derelict ship using 1.02

Had this happen earlier, lost 40 minutes of game because of it

Happened when I accidentally told a cruiser to attack a derelict ship in a debris field. Reproducible:

Using 1.02 official.

Thanks, we'll add it to our priority list for the next update. Was this in the derelict field with lots of old ships that looked like and old space battlefield?

Remember the new quick save button too, looks like there are a few more space mines out there that we missed.

Not sure if this is related but I'm getting a bug. I get an "Abandoned Ship Encountered" popup and if I click to investigate the ship, nothing happens. If I unpause the game the popup comes back. This happens again and again unless I choose to leave the ship alone.
