No Income

According to the game, I have a huge cash flow, but every time the month ticks over I don't actually gain any money. I have a huge cashflow, but I never seem to see any of it! Any ideas what's going on?

Could be you are still in the process of building things (eats up your cashflow), or perhaps the private sector is building things (personally I think that should *add* to your cashflow...).

I just know that when my empire goes into the negative on both numbers (cash per turn and available cash) ALL production halts and the empire spirals deeper into debt. Then as soon as cash per turn gets positive, things in the que start being built again even though the wallet number is still negative.

Alternatively, it could just be that the numbers take a while to update.

While I am not 100% sure, I have found this to be largely the private sector as well as (if you have the option on) your planets building troops.  You can't do much about the former, you can turn off the automation of the latter.

Auto-buildling of troops and private economy makes sense, I guess.
