Morning gentlemens.
Just lost a friend this week end; committed suicide [:(].
May God (or any name you want to give him) bless him; and may HE protect you all.

Take care Eric...

Hello All.
My friend was 41 year old. A wife, 2 children, a dog and 15 cameleon.
Seems always jokking, always happy.
He hanged himself in the back of his garden; his wife look for him for hours before calling for the police, wich finaly found him.
Nobody understand, but i won't judge him.
i will on this thread (and if i manage to learn from his family the date of funerals)
tell all the respect and friendship i had for him.
And of course, my wife (wich used to work with him for 6 years) is "shaken" to the most because it remind her the not-so-far-away time that she was in this state of mind.
Sorry to all threadster to talk such topic. I just needed to talk about him (and of me) a little bit.
Please all of you remind that there are always others solution, and please call for help before doing this. Call anyone: friend, wife/husband, childrens/parents, doc, psy. Don't do this.
I wish to all of you the best.

Very true, Mynok. I have personal experience with the kind words of a friend bringing me back from the brink once upon a time. Kindness and friendship are sometimes the only things that penetrate the darkness of depression.ORIGINAL: Mynok
In light of Eric's horrible news, let's remember to be patient and kind with our fellow man. Yes, that finger points right at me. You never know what an act of kindness or friendliness might do.
