Sorry Vorsteher, we simply missed this, we don't normally allow such graphics to get through to release because of the issue with Germany. It's just the one scenario though, right?

I never considered it a problem. Sorry if it offends anyone. Its just me being historically accurate.

Pete: perhaps it could be an idea to place the WWII Hungarian flag partially over the German flag, so not the entire swastika would be visible. As the Kharkov loading screen also has part of a swastika, that could possibly be more acceptable (that is: if only a part was shown).

Hi Pete,

What we typically do is include a more "generic" symbol (like the Iron Cross or something like that) for the general release and then we can add in a "swastika mod" for those outside of Germany who prefer the historical graphics. We can put the latter in our Members Club for those who want it.

Regards,

- Erik

No offense taken, we don't embrace censorship as well. Nevertheless it would be better to single out Konrad and make it available for a separate download, as not only the flag is forbidden in Germany, but also the tactical signs of 'Wiking' and 'Totenkopf' division. So everybody interested in this scenario can get it anyway, but Matrix did not sell it.

Sorta hypocritical, I know, but we learned to live with it. [8|]

I'm guessing Ingl(swastika)urious Basterd's didn't screen in Germany then. [;)]

If Wiking's divisional insigna, being a swastika or the "runic wheel" variant, is forbidden, both Korsun Pocket and Kharkov can not be sold in Germany.

...and don't forget the SS signs. Could we please stop listing those insignia...Der Feind hört mit... [:D] I want to enjoy the SSG titles a little while longer.
