Screen shots of the desert terrain are now in their forum. Looking good.

Ronald has made some very nice palm trees for the mod. Picture at DMP. I think you have to register to see the pic. Maybe Ronald could post it here too.

Super Zoom? Is that coming with the next update?

Edit: I guess that shot is at the zoom we have now but somehow the units look larger.

Hello,

here is the screenshot i posted over there. Please keep in mind it is just a test of palm trees i made to support their MOD. Its not part of the official game yet.

Its just a excerpt from a huger screenshot (1680x1050 pixels) that now looks zoomed. There is no such feature included or planned.

One more word about the planned MOD.

To document the ambition of the people behind it i can tell you there will be over 100 new units included and several campaigns are planned. Also a desert graphics set (this is where the palm trees come in) is being created.

So i can only encourage anyone who likes to mod a game to support those keen modders to reach their goal.

Regards

I have been trying to follow the progress, but the site is in German. I hope that when it is ready, someone can inform us. It looks and sounds great. Keep it up and thank you.

VR I'll keep posting here as things progress.

If you use Firefox, get the gtranslate plugin. Click and drag to highlight the text. Right click and click translate this text. For me this opens a new tab with the text somewhat translated to English. I can usually figure out what is being said.

I think that we can release a first open beta Mod short after the next patch in 3-4 weeks(late march).
We will bring you several short campaigns, in a chronological order.
First campaign will be the focus on the first italian - british fightings in autum / winter 1940.

first look:

We will continue our work for at least one year, filling the mod with content.

Hi Jaegerfeld,

Models and textures looks good, but it seems that the airscrews have some alpha problems.

im still learning.
Remember: i'm no 3d artist, just a computer scientist.
I will try to rework the models in the process, every time i learn a new trick.
