How to find your IP Address quickly.

1. Go to Start
2. Go to Run
3. Type "winipcfg" without the quotation marks.
4. Hit ok

Hope that helps someone.:D

OR... if you're running W2000 or WinXP:

1. Go to Start

2. Go to Run

3. Enter "cmd" in the field, which launches the command shell.

4. Type "ipconfig"

5. write down the IP, then type "exit" to close the shell.

If you skip step 3, the ipconfig window will only flash before shutting down again :p

Mostly academic, as I don't know how it would be useful, but if for some reason you need your own IP for programs ALL ONLY on your computer, you can just use 'localhost' or '127.0.0.1'. That's how your computer refers to itself. (EG, if you're running an FTP server on your computer, and want to FTP a file to it from the very same physical machine.)
