How long does shipping take from the matrix store?

I ordered the physical copy of WitP AE 2 weeks ago and I'm starting to get antsy to play. I didn't get the digital download because I didn't really want to blow 500 megss of my monthly internet quota on something I'm getting in the mail anyways, but now I'm starting to get antsy after reading all the aar's and whatnot and I want to get into it and start my first turn lol, so I kinda wish I had.

But I didn't, and it's been two weeks. I figured that would be plenty, but I guess not. So I'm wondering how long the shipping usually takes?

I live in Canada, and the shipping option I chose was International Postal (was the first one that popped up meh). I figured a week to get to Canada from wherever matrix ships from, and a week to get to where I live would be plenty but I guess not.

Might want to PM Erik Rutins about it.......He is the god around here when it comes to straightening out a FUBAR.

P.S.......usually takes me 1 week or so here in the States to get the physical copy. I get both, out of 15 games or so only 3 have been opened and that was to grab the manual to read in bed.

Yeah, 2 weeks sounds like a long time for your game to get there. I'd definitely contact Erik and see if he can't help you out. (Odds are he can. [:)] )

Yeah that's too long. I've ordered about five games from Matrix and they are at my door in not even two full days. It's impressive. So, I'd say something is wrong.

yep, i'll second what the other posters say. But I'd suggest you contact customer support here before you try Erik. They may be able to tell you when it shipped, or straighten it out for you.

Oh I know when it was shipped lol, 17 march. I was checking the order status hourly after I ordered and it shipped the next day after I had put my order through. Unfortunately the shipping type that was used can't be tracked after it's shipped. I sent erik a pm, and contacted the digital river support. Digital river support sent me a form letter telling me to check my order status :/ which wasn't very helpful lol, and erik hasn't had a chance to really do much of anything yet I guess.

bleh. Anyone know if there's a way to get them to activate digital download after having originally turned it down? At this point I just want to play and monthly download quota's be damned! lol.

It kinda sucks too because I was getting interested in perhaps buying Distant Worlds as well but I don't want to get that ball rolling until this issue has been resolved :/

Well, 3 weeks and counting. I'm told it can take up to 4 weeks to ship to Canada, which is pretty absurd, but so be it.

The wait would be a lot more tolerable if someone over there cared enough to retroactively authorize digital download for my purchase. Alas, every time I request this I get ignored.


Well it finally came thank god lol, I swear the postal service is their own worst enemy. 3 weeks and 6 days to arrive. what a joke. Lesson learned, spend the 30 bucks and use ups.
