What exactly were you doing when you double clicked the star?  Can you reproduce it on your end? in your save?

I can reproduce it every time, just double click on the specific star (my home star) and bam -> exception. The star has a higher value than the in-game editor allows and that causes the exception, I can just click on continue and play on, but I can't edit the star.
