Message list blanks out

After I opened the message history window and closed it again, my main interface message bar no longer scrolls with the new messages...it remains blank, even as I get little side graphics of animal attacks, etc. I can't figure out how to get the message bar to scroll the new notifications so I can quickly click on them to go to places where I'm being attacked, etc. Is this a bug or have I overlooked some command or setting? Thanks.

I actually had that happen to me as well. I just reloaded the save and it worked again. Definitely a bug, methinks.

i can confirm this. Happens to me often(approximately every 3rd time) after i load a savegame. reloading the same save may work but not always.

I just re-started the application after saving, and it restored the list. Hope they fix it in the next patch, though. Great game, BTW. Has enormous potential!
