BoB - Auto-turn generation bug

Post by simovitch »

Playing as Allies in 1940 BoB (new OOB's), I opened up a saved game and moved AA units and aircraft, checked a few stats, and ended the movement phase. Then after confirming, the game immediately completes the next turn and begins "assigning pilots" and "repairing" and then begins a whole new Movement phase for the next day.

I thought I was going crazy at first but I have now been able to repeat it fairly consistently by saving a game right after the mission is completed and exiting to desktop. You have to exit the game completely to desktop for this to fire:

Download the attached saved game (rename to .zip and UNZIP into your DAT/Save/BOB folder) and load it up. Expend some Command Points (or not). Exit the Movement phase and it should skip the next day's operations and bring you to the next turns movement phase.

I saw this a couple of times when testing the new 41 OOB, I figured the LW weren't flying that day due to bad weather.?

Hmm, that could be it, actually. It only happens when the weather comes up in the 90%'s. WAD, Thanks.

yea, I'm usually pretty observant when it comes to trouble shooting. I just never thought to check the cloud cover.[8|]
