Minor Bug: Colored Radar circle goes out of alignment during zoom

Here is a couple of screen shots at differing levels of zoom. First is still ok. Radar doesnt warp when i move my screen around:

This is with one level of zoom. Still looking fine...

Now heres the problem. When i zoom in one more level, the radar distorts:

Moving around the screen at the same level of zoom didnt change much. Still pretty distorted. Distortion seems to be fixed in place tho...

One more level of zoom. Now we see interesting effects. If i move my screen such that the system that is giving out the radar is on the bottom right of my screen, the image looks just fine:

However when i start moving the colony into the center of my screen, eventually it will pass a point where it will snap back to its distorted position. This MIGHT have something to do with my screen being so near the edge of the map (which is where i started) but its just a guess.

And finally, when i zoom in one more time, it all goes back to normal. Further zoom levels and/or screen motion after this do not cause anymore distortion:
