No Kates.

I have installed the patch 3 onto my game and I've noticed that I have no B5N's of any type. None in the replacement screen and no factory's. I can't even select them for replacement builds. It is as if they never existed. Please help.

As in real life, the Japanese have no factories actively producing Kates on 7dec41 in Scen 1. There is a Kate factory at either Hiroshima or Nagasaki (don't remember which) that is set to zero. You have to go to that factory and manually increase it's production. Once it is above zero, it will appear in the factory summery list.

If your problem is not at the beginning of the game, I can't help

That was the problem. BTW it is Hiroshima that has the kate factory
