Operation Konrad

Post by Pete AU »

Dear Matrix community

Thankyou for all the positive comments posted privately and on the forum - these make all the work worthwhile (since the pays crap [;)] ). Many of you have posted suggestions to me, indeed many have made changes already and offered a download link for files and are enthusiastic about me incorporating those changes into the next release. With the take up of the scenario in the general release recently I have had more feedback than I know what to do with.

As you can imagine its impossible to collate all suggestions from changed files, a far better way (for me) is for you to post suggestions here or PM me a list of your suggestions thus I can incorporate them into a master file where the suggestions are valid. If you have a suggestion about a particular unit be sure to back it up with research or a reference so I can cross reference it with my own data.

Note also, changing the graphics on the map is a major undertaking and is not something I plan on doing until I run out of new projects (Ie never). The map is my own artwork and interpretation and, though the style differs from SSG's commercial maps it shows what can be done without the need for photoshop or a massive investment in graphic software - anyone can create playable maps with freeware out there now.

So finally, thankyou all again and enjoy defending (or crushing) Budapest.

Yes indeed! Thank you so much for making SSG's titles even more attractive to our small community of avid wargamers!

Almost finished playing this scenario as Axis and had to post a message thanking you Pete for your hard work.  This is terrific. I will be playing this for awhile.
