Public Beta 1.04 Crash

At about 2757.01.23 after discovering one alien race with an outpost, my game crashed with an error identified as GxBO. The only choice it gave me was to exit the game which it did back to my windows home screen. It would not let me use a screen capture on it, so I couldn't catch it. I can send you the game file at the closest point.

This was a repeating problem. I reloaded the game at the point before the crash and in about the same time period it crashed again. Sorry, I didn't copy down all the hash on the crash notification and it wouldn't let me do a copy and save.

I am using a Sony Vaio, Pentium dual core, Windows Vista Home Premium. Had no issues with 1.03.

I will try one more new game then will reinstall up to 1.03 and wait.

I had a similar crash... same error code. I was able to trap the screen shot (ALT-Prt Scrn) uploaded as 20100420crash.doc

Was playing from a saved game from the previous version. (never had a crash in the game up until this point)

Will start a new game and keep testing.

If you're able to upload the savegame for that, it would really help in tracking that down.
