AI makes stupid trades

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

AI makes stupid trades

Post by MrLongleg »

In my last game against the AI I was able to make a couple of very nice trade agreements with England. I was able to pay 4 textiles with 4 wool. Quite a good deal, but I think that points to a bug in the AI because it costs 4 wool and textile capacity to create 1 textile. I wish I could reach these kind of deals in PBEM ;-)

Yep, the ai just not understand the textile value. You need to try to be fair when playing solo. I have had human players pay over two gold for one wool/cotton-it could, at times equate to 10 gold per textile. At times, that seems under valued. The ai just does not understand this.
