Good Morning Guys [:)]
RE: THE THREAD!!!
I think I'm developing telepathic powers. On Friday, two minutes before my workday ended, the phone rang. Before I went to pick up, I muttered under my breath "Sorry, we're closed". And then it stopped ringing!

Hi Chris. What can I say? It was in the 80's yesterday and after the winter we had I'm not used to it.

You should run out and patent that idea Bruce. They'll patent anything. I just learned that my company actually held a patent for standing in line. [X(]

I had much more severe allergies both as a child and in CA versus what I have here. Part of it is maturation, the other part specific allergens in the air.ORIGINAL: radar

This allergy stuff is frightening, btw. I will not claim anything for myself, as I am a stereotypical "nice Jewish boy" and all the nerdiness, dorkiness, bad eyesight and sinus trouble that entails. But she grew up in a rural setting, where any possible hay fever would have come from actual hay. And she had never had allergies until about 3 years after arriving in the US. WTF is going on here?! [X(]
I was grieved by allergies for many years. I learned two years ago that most people have low Vitamin D levels, which causes the immune system to be ineffective against allergies (and other bad stuff). I started taking 6,000 I/U of Vit D3 every day and now allergies are a minor annoyance at worst. Vit D is not expensive...Sam's has the cheapest I've seen.
While it's true that a large number of people in modern life are probably borderline deficient (and many medical groups recommend upping Vitamin D for most people above what they are now), I would argue that the connection to atopy (inhalant allergy) control is tenuous at best. I wouldn't go more than about 2x USRDA on Vitamin D therapy-not one you want to megadose...

Dude. Different trees, different pollen, different stimuli to (over) stimulate one's respiratory tree. You want no allergies? Move to the desert-problem solved. You wanna live amongst trees, flowers and vegetation? If you're a nice Jewish boy (or a Catholic, or whatever), you get allergies.ORIGINAL: Onime No Kyo

So am I. Steve, ol' buddy, my jokes range from idiotic to direct, but theyre always jokes. Dont trake it so seriously.
I don't. But where nearly four hours had passed. I was afraid that you had, hence the apology. I need to keep recalling that you now have 1) a life 2) a job and most importantly , 3) a girl friend! [:D]
Well, yes. At the time you were worrying about me taking offense, GFU and I were merrily sitting at Borders and being romantically allergic to everything in the world.

David Attenborough was better that both.
Didn't he do 'the life of Birds' maybe a decade ago? Stunning production, that was. Lovely plumage.

I can't afford it. [:D] I do like it though. It's a condensed form of soccer, my first love, so I have some appreciation for it. Plus, it is exquisitely cold. [:'(]
I'll make a nice farewell address before I head to the tropics and my certain demise. Hopefully I can save some bipedal lives before I succumb to the evil Sol.

Or take your own fridge ande gas-powered generator. In a pinch, you can just stick your head in there.....[:D]
