Need help Please

I'm having problems with my WWII campaign crahing as well as a regular campaign ending mid game and declaring it a draw. I was still alive and holding objectives or attacking objectives.

Try deleting the steel.prf file from your save directory. Then reboot and start with your last campaign save. That should help.

It appears to be something with the vcr replay, whether you use it or not, that corrupts the steel.prf file.

Thanks W.B. I'll give it a try. I don't use the replay on purpose. I've hit it a few times by accident trying to hit the B key.

I couldn't locate the steel.prf file. Is it possible that I don't have it or do I need to dig deeper?

Look in your save folder Steel.prf.

Oh, its there, as Tankhead says. Look inside the save directory inside your SPWAW main directory. Delete it. Reboot your machine.
Restart the game, it will make a new "clean" one.

It simply stores the preferences you choose for the game. It makes a new one each time it is removed with default settings.

save003.cmt
save003.dat
save003rec
save004.cmt
save004.dat
save004.rec
then a key icon with steel under it.

Please forgive me but I really don't know much about computers or files

The Key ican with steel under it is the Steel.prf file and is the one you want to delite.
