colonizable worlds not displayed in expansion planner

hey. i've run into what i believe is a bug. after searching around the forums i've found 2 other posts that mention it but no solutions, if any exist. what happens is that after a while i can pretty much colonize all the colonizable planets, volcanic, ice, desert, marsh. through tech and the absorbtion of other races, now as i can colonize these planets they should show up in the expansion planner under potential colonies. and some do, however the vast majority of these planets do NOT show up in the planner. i know that they are colonizable because i can manually right click on them and have a ship built and sent there. i also know that it is not a factor of current planet population being too small. for instance, some of my desert planets have a current pop of 2000M people. far more than is needed to be able to send colony ships. and yet i've found many desert planets not listed in the planner. but if i go to them manually and right click on them i can send a ship just fine.

i've found this problem with the volcanic, ice and desert planets around the galaxy. it doesn't matter if they're in one of my systems, an empty system or a system controlled by another empire. they simply do not show up on the expansion planner list as a potential colony. this is also at a time when my exploration ships have finished exploring all the systems.

has anyone run into this bug? is it a bug? a feature of some sort relating to current size of your empire maybe? or does anyone know of any kind of fix? i find it to be rather inconvenient to manually inspect each system one by one to colonize these planets so any help here would be appreciated.

Which version of the game are you running? There was indeed an issue like that in 1.0.3, which has been addressed for 1.0.4 (currently in beta).

yeah, its ver 103. thanks i might look at 104 then, i tend to stay away from betas on the whole due to it not being fully tested and released though.
