Who is this guy?

Post by AW1Steve »

Who on earth is W.F. Rodee? And why on earth is he re-assigned on every single turn? [&:] Seriously, I'm running a practice senario against the AI (The Guadacanal scenario) as the allies. And every singe OPS report lists W.F. Rodee re-assigned. Why ? Doen't any CO want him for more than a day? [&:] Or is this some kind of inside developers joke that I didn't get the memo on on? Enquiring minds want to know.[:D]

Mine is "R. N. Bateson.  He gets reassigned every turn for as long as I can remember.  He must have a horrible gas issue or keeps sleeping with his commander's wife.

Or both at the same time.

Mine is an AF officer named Berg, if I remember correctly he was the first ace I had in Philippines when the war broke out, lately he's been nailing the admirals daughter, and now flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog poop to DEI.

I had something like that happen to a british pilot. I tracked him down to belonging to the surviving airwing from the Prince of Wales float-plane unit. the unit was something something/1 at a land base after PoW sunk and I got rid of him by disbanding the unit.
The era of procrastination, of half-measures, of soothing and baffling expedients, of delays, is coming to a close.
In its place we are entering a period of consequences..
