If anyone is interested I published a new scenario on the 1922 Greco-Turkish War.
It can be found on the Rugged Defense scenario archive

I haven't even downloaded the scenario, but from a quick look I would be glad to take on a game. Let me know if you're interested.

I would like to play a game, but I must warn you that it will probably be a slow game. Duty calls and I'm off to another DoD proposal. Between travel and extended work hours . . . the little time left over is mostly for family with TOAW a distant second. So, if you can accept that, I would be glad to play you in a match.

I have played a number of turns as the Turks with a Greek PO. The PO devastates the Turks . . . with a Cheyenne Greek player the Turks should be out of the game in about five turns. We'll have to see about that.

Send a turn when you are ready.

This looks like a cool scenario.  I like these smaller games covering obscure bits of history, and without a whole lot of internal combustion going on.  I've downloaded it.  Now all I have to do is to find time to give it a whirl.

Thanks for the comments. The Greek side should have an overwhelming advantage the first few turns then the situation should change in favor of Turkey. I was able to obtain significant victory as Greece against the PO but I never made it to Ankara. I was able to capture Izmir (Smyrna) as Turkey.
Historically the Greeks reach the Sakarya river before being pushed back. I tried to make the scenario as realistic as possible.

btw as far as being obscure let me assure you that for Greeks and Turks it is the war that has defined Greek-Turkish relations for the last 80 years.

No problem for a slow game but next week I'll be rarely online so best to begin the game next Sunday. Do you prefer to play as Greek? If so you could begin the game.
