Axis, June 24th, 1940

The German front line is still very sparsely populated and that prevents us from penetrating deeper into Russia. However, the German units are considerably stronger than their Soviet counterparts.

With fresh supplies from Minsk, German tanks head east towards Smolensk and Velikiye Luki. The Irish acquire membership in the Western Allies while the Latvians will soon be tightly integrated into the German lands.

The Irish acquire membership in the Western Allies

Now that Ireland has joined the fray, it would seem the scales are tipping against the Axis.

Will we soon see the Irish come to the rescue of their American cousins in the great city of New York?

The Germans in NY try to consume the recently surging Guinness supply in the US. The supplies surely rise in preparation of a large scale Irish landing.

The Germans in the East have to do with potato schnapps which may account for their slow progress.

The summer is already half over and we are only some very few hexes closer to Smolensk than four weeks earlier. Once we are stuck in winter weather it will only get worse.

The fast units at Tallin have to wait for reinforcements before an attack on the Estonian capital can be launched.

The air war with the UK goes into a new round which is going to Germany for this time. The conflict with the USSR is becoming a titanic struggle where despite German progress, the USSR can maintain its defense by outproducing losses.
