MMCC3 Single Player map missing error

Post by Dundradal »

I just went back to play some MMCC3 single player and now it's telling me it can't find the map "spree" and it won't let me start a game because of this.

What would cause this error?

Where can I d/l the map? I looked at the closecombat.coi page but it I didn't see it there.

I do have maps for Der Ost Front installed (but not the mod itself the maps are just in the maps directory).

no I have vanilla CoI running like it says...and it says I'm missing "spree"

I have the DOF maps copied into the maps directory but DOF is not installed in MODSWAP...nothing is...

having missing maps won't cause the game to not start.

it just means you cannot play that sector until you install the map.

So, if that map is not installed just choose to attack in a different sector.

Odd? Or am I missing something? Vanilla install of CoI playing MMCCIII Single Player should not have to download any extra Maps as it should use stock Maps only.

Oh, your getting old.

The spree map, though created for but not used in CoI was written into mmcc3 from the beginning.

Thanks Andrew. You are a Pal... [:'(]

My logic was good, but my memory was crap. What was it you said about getting old?.... [;)]
