Matrix Games in GameTrade Magazine

Post by Yamamoto »

I noticed many Matrix Games for sale in a magazine called “Game Trade magazine”. It’s a magazine that mostly covers role-playing and card games that are soon to be released. It also has a lot of anime stuff. The only computer games listed in there are Matrix’s. War in the Pacific was not listed but I’m assuming it will be in a future issue.

We are trying to support the Hobby game stores and get the our products to the stores.

If any of you guys have a local store that sells wargames, comics or hobby supplies please ask them about carrying Matrix Games products.

David, I work in one - a large department store chain actually - and we would love to carry your products. One of our suppliers (Sanura Suomi, an import company) has been trying to reach you for more than a month now, to no avail! Is your phone number up to date? I'm sorry about bringing it up this way, but my customers without a credit card are getting impatient while reading rave reviews about your game in Finnish magazines.

Thanks in advance!

All good things to those who wait

Thanks David, the importer should drop you an order any day now! Our buyer already gave the green light: we (Stockmann's department store chain) will buy them as soon as Sanura Suomi imports the games. We want Uncommon Valor and some other new releases, such as Starships Unlimited. This should be good news for all Finns without a credit card. We ship everywhere in Finland with postal order (postiennakko, that is). Anyone who would like to reserve a copy of any Matrix Games title: my work phone# is 09-121 4335 and my email: tuomas(piste)seijavuori(miuku)stockmann(piste)fi. It would be nice to know how many you are out there, so we know how many units we should get.

Tuomas,

We're delighted to have you onboard as one of our dealers. I'm sure Dave will make sure things progress smoothly from initial contact through import and sales.

Hey, if you'll send me copies of all of your games, I'll see what I can do about selling them. Call it selling on permanent consignment . . . ;)

Pretty funny Byron

Anyways, I saw an excellent ad on the back cover of the WWII History magazine. It had 3-4 gamed advertized on it including WiTP. Nice ad.

Uncommon Valor should hit Stockmann's shelves on Friday or Saturday! If you live in Espoo, Tampere, Turku or Oulu, ask your local Stockmann to transfer Uncommon Valor from Helsinki's warehouse, if you can't see it on their shelves yet.

Our price is 49,90 euros.

For comparision, the game costs 72,50 euros ordered from Matrix Games and 63 euros from Duchet.com.
