1.04b2 GxBO in new game

I installed v1.4b2 over v1.4b1, it said it was already installed but gave me the option to "repair" so I did and it seemed to install right (it should really specify which

beta version it is in the version line, instead of just 1.0.4.0 for b1, b2, and final)

Anyways. I have started a brand new game under 1.4b2 and it now has a GxBO crash that repeats...

I then did a complete uninstall and reinstall of v1.03 followed by 1.04b2 without ever installing 1.04b1 just to make sure and I still get this crash. also the crash remains in my 1.04b1 save... but the notes did mention a save could be corrupted and a new game required... so I started a new game.

It is POSSIBLE that my upgrade to 1.04b2 did not work right. But I think it installed.

I have uploaded it as "taltamir 2010-04-21 GxBO crash v1.0.4b2.rar" I will start another new game with my clean install of 1.04b2.

so, did anyone see this report? because it got pushed out of the front page by others.
