RE: CRITICAL MESSAGE!
Here is something I'm experimenting with just to give me a general location of allied fleet units. Any engagement that has DD or higher on it I plan on tracking monthly. I see it is going to be a long report and it take some work so I don't know yet if I should continue with it. I'll give it a month or two time to see if it gives me what i need. [;)]

RE: CRITICAL MESSAGE!
As you can see with the British destroyers, you can track their path from Hong Kong to the south. Things like this are helpful but its not what I intended to end up with [:D] So what do you guys think about the system?

RE: CRITICAL MESSAGE!
Good to hear that bspeer, don't forget to check out Cap and Gown's AAR, his is good learning leason for all new JFB. Fletcher is another one to check on, his is rich in details that I can't get into. [;)]
Here is the sitrep with Wirraways deep carrier strike, as you can see the seas are empty with in a day and half of his position. Some ships in Babelabdo can't get out of the way in time so I docked them. Hopefully with my carriers heading toward Truk I'll be able to catch him unless he heads out toward Darwin. With KB Bravo I don't plan on using them to engage him, I have them covering landings around Borneo.
I'll give Wirraway credit for this raid, it was gutsy and aggressive. He caught my carriers escorting my AO's back so I'm way out of position to do much of anything with KB Alpha. So far hes bagged 2 PB's and 3 AK's along with all 1st Raiders who where on their way to Truk for operations in that region. [:@]
Hopefully since hes in range of 6 sqd. of Betties they can get some hits on anything. IF they don't this will only embolden Ace to try these tactics some more I'm afraid.

RE: CRITICAL MESSAGE!
Dec 21st
Nothing major to report, his carriers are heading straight toward Truk and my carriers. Next turn should be the big show!
There is a change to a portion of Operation Valued Prize. I have come to the realization that 16th Army is better used to move into eastern D.E.I. instead of securing Mindanao.

Still no carrier contact, Wirraway diverted his for to take out a 3 ship group south of his position. I have a good news for battleship POW fans...she was sunk! [:'(] KB Bravo and betties did a double punch to sink her at Soerebaja. Here is a news paper to hit the highlights of the last few days.

China Sitrep
Well Wirraway's CV's slipped away to Darwin or Perth [:(]
Here is a Sitrep for North China
I don't know why Wirraway is not protecting Chengchow and Loyang from the 35th Div

RE: Battle of Timor Sea
I thought Wirraway was being too aggressive with his carriers. But then he seemed to have escaped. But obviously you caught him. Congratulations.
I wonder why the allied strike was so weak? (It is not because the Lex was sunk: in CV battles, both sides are flying simultaneously, even though the Japanese strike is resolved first.)

Winter Harvest
I have this nagging feeling that one of Aces carriers escaped, KB didn't move (my mistake [:@]) toward the west, but I did strike a carrier fleeing that way. Range 7 with 4 torps in her side, pilots claiming Lexington was sunk. Time will tell if Big E got away, for I have to pull back KB to refuel. [:(]
Imperial General Headquarters has come up with another anti-shipping operation aimed at assisting subs patroling War Patrol Zone D. Each AMC group is equipped with 1 or 2 floats to help spot and direct attacks against shipping. Winter Harvest will be canceled if escorted convoys are encountered in number.

Happy 1942 New Year everyone, hopefully this will be the year of the rising sun! [8D]
Update for Eastern Shield: Midway invasion on hold. I'm bringing in 8th Engineer from Korea to help on the assault if he's been digging in. I've learned that Midway on lvl 3 fortification with no reinforcement can be very very ugly! Tip my hat to Koontz for that lesson [:D]
Update for Just Cause: 21st Army will suspend any aggressive action in china until more reinforcements make any head way possible. I needed to divert some 21st Army assets to assist in Burma...more important as of now.
Update for Valued Prize: I think Wirraway has reinforced Palembang with the Aussies so a Phase 3 operation is being moved into the Phase 2 portion. 16th Nav. Grd., 4th, 124th, and 143rd Inf. Rgts. with supporting units are going to land at Oosthaven
[&:]I have a question for some experienced Japanese players. How long will Luzon PI hold out if holding Clark and Bataan without resupply? Ace moved to these locations and I don't want to divert a ton of troops to take them. Any advice? [&:]
Finally here is the most recent happenings.
