RE: The AE Geezer Thread!
Grump. I tried to get my car remotes batteries replaced, the dealer put in the new battery and informed me that both remotes were inop. New keys will be $200+. I decided that I didn't want new keys so he gave me his bill for the new batteries he had installed[8|]
I think that I preferred the old days with dumb keys.

I expected the next line , after he gave you the bill to be "and then I shot him your honor!". [:D]
I still insist on keys. The openers are good, but I'm what our Brit friends would call a "belt & braces" sort of guy![:D]

Actually I did go to the range afterward. 30 bucks worth of ammo gave much more satisfaction [:)] Plus cleaning a firearm is pretty calming therapy unless of course a spring goes awol or there are parts left over when you put them all back together[&:]

Serves you right for driving one of them newfangled cars. Next thing you'll be cruising off the lot in a car powered by dilithium. [:'(]

Geezer Bandit Strikes for 8th Time
Geezer Bandit
Is this any of you? I could use the reward...

The bank robber dubbed the “geezer bandit” has struck again. The elderly suspect held up a San Diego bank on April 30 bringing the total number of heists he’s accused of committing in the area to 8.
A $16,000 reward has been offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
While the moniker may be amusing, authorities told CNN the “geezer bandit” has carried a weapon in at least one robbery and should be considered dangerous.
